How it works: 

Nominations:   August 28 through September 8 

·         Ballot will include the top vote getters from 2018 plus you can place additional nominations.

 ·         During this nomination period, you are welcome to vote for your favorites one time each day from August 28 through September 8.

 ·         From this nomination period, the top vote getters for each category, up to 10 businesses or individuals, will move on to the next round to determine the 2019 Readers’ Choice winners.

 ·         Votes received during the nomination period will not carry over to the voting period to determine the gold, silver and bronze winners.  Voting in the nomination period is only to narrow categories down to a maximum of 10 candidates in each category.

 Voting:  September 11 through September 22

 ·         Readers’ can choose their favorite in each category from the top vote getters during the nomination period. 

 ·         Vote one time per category.

 o   NOTE:  this is different than voting during the nomination period of voting once each day. 

 ·         There will be 3 winners in each category:

o   Gold

o   Silver

o   Bronze
